Since today we celebrate International Women's Day, I decided to create a special blog post, dedicated to me, to you, to all of us, the women. Because it is a truly extraordinary day for us, no matter what we are: daughters, sisters, mothers, grandmothers, and so on. On this special day, I want to wish you: Happy International Women's Day!

According to history, this day was celebrated for the first time on 28th February 1909, in New York. And, even if over time this day was held on several days, today it is held on 8th March. In the end, why not? The most significant feature of this day is ACTUALLY the message behind the celebration: that is, the movement for women's rights.
Because of this, I decided to dedicate this blog post to all of you, my readers. I want to share, on this special day, the reasons why I appreciate that I am a woman:
1.We love pampering
Personally, I love this part! I love pampering myself, I love mixing clothes, playing with make-up. It is an essential part of us, women, to be concerned about our look and the look of those we love. I, for example, can't contain myself but to choose some outfits for Darius, my fiancé, whenever I have the opportunity.
2.We are strong
I like to think that we are fragile on the outside and strong on the inside. But that's not a general statement! There are women out there who play football, fly the plane, successfully manage companies and businesses, women who combine work with love and passion. I don't say it's an easy fight. I don't say that we always succeed in the first attempt. But when we succeed, we do it in a great way!
We have a big soul. And I do think that men, too, have a big soul. But in our case, we tend to manifest this feature in a different way by comparing them. Without generalizing, we have a protective way of showing our love.
4.We support each other
There is a lot of competition in this world and somehow, women still learn how to support each other. But this beautiful shift that is happening in our culture is real. And even if we tend to be critical, whenever we need help, there are women out there willing to support us. And, at the end of the day, this is the most important thing to be considered.
This quarantine life made me become nostalgic. That is why I challenged myself to write a blog post about how I would dress if I were 16 again. Join me to discover 6 great teenage outfits. Find more...
