Since a lot of my readers are working, I decided to create a new and special category of blog posts * suspense music in the background *. I present you my new series: SAVIOUR WEAR OFFICE (OWS). Here you'll find the most interesting pieces that you can wear at work, such as office wear won't become a routine * claps hands *.

blouse: Zara | pants: Zara | Bag: Zara | Sandals: Zara | Sunglasses: Stradivarius

Today, I present you such a piece: the tie-front blouse! A shirt full of charm, which revives any other clothing item when paired together. And yeees, we already know that office wear tends to become commonplace, sometimes being as trivial as a T-shirt or as a pair of jeans.

About tie front blouse

The tie front blouse is feminine, versatile and it has a remarkable advantage: it creates that much desired hourglass silhouette. Wait, what? The hourglass silhouette is again a trend? It seems so! Let's go back in time - it's time to talk about fashion history! At the beginning of 1900, more precisely between 1900 and 1910, the hourglass silhouette was the ideal beauty. A simple Google search of the style from that period reveals a particularly feminine silhouette, with attractive curves and a thin waist. Women adored that kind of waist and they were ready to do anything in order to get it: from wearing uncomfortable corsets to eating tapeworm (which is a type of parasite worm). Hm ... I think I finally understand where the expression "fashion victim" comes from.

Fortunately, the hourglass silhouette is not so forced these days, you don't need to have an extremely thin waist in order to wear some type of clothes. And, to go back to the subject of this blog post, a tie front blouse is perfect to achieve that silhouette.

Such an example is given by the outfit I'm wearing today and that can easily be worn at the office. The satin tie front blouse creates the illusion of an elongated silhouette. The pants, with the same vertical stripes as the ones on the blouse, complete the outfit and everything ends perfectly with the pattern of the sandals. The bag imprinted with a hashtag logo works great together with the sunglasses.

This blouse can be matched with both a pair of jeans or a pencil skirt. This is why this piece is so versatile!

Do you already own a tie front blouse or are you tempted to buy one?
